Facial Reconstruction
This patient underwent excision of a basal cell carcinoma of his right lower forehead. The surgery resulted in a large defect involving more than half of his eyebrow. Reconstruction was performed with a local flap. The flap was designed to redistribute eyebrow hair toward the nose to create as natural a result as possible. The scars extending into the forehead and along the upper eyelid are nearly imperceptible.
